Submitting Artwork for Printing
Customer Supplied Artwork
Customer’s who would like to use their own artwork should submit the artwork on a disk or via email to art@copelandscreenprinting.com. If the artwork submitted requires editing, touchups, or does not meet Copeland Screen Printing & Embroidery specifications, we reserve the right to modify the artwork and charge accordingly.
Artwork that is submitted to use from business cards, photocopies, pen and/or pencil drawings, Yellow Page or newspaper ads, and letterheads are not considered camera-ready art. Additional preparation is required to have these submissions ready to go to print. Although we can reproduce these images, the quality is only as good as the submitted images. Please know that an art charge will apply unless your art meets our minimum requirements.
Copeland Screen Printing & Embroidery accepts artwork created in most professional graphic applications in PC format. For multicolor Logos, vector art created in CorelDRAW is preferred. An art charge will apply to your order only if the artwork has to be reproduced. If you submit artwork on a disk, please specify in what file the artwork is located, fonts used and, if possible, a hard copy of your image. A hard copy is used to ensure the images match.
For single color imprints, scans of camera-ready-art are acceptable, as long as the original scanned resolution is at least 500 pixels per inch at actual imprint size. For the photo image process, artwork can be submitted in any of the formats above as well as scanned graphic formats such as eps, gif, BMP, tif, and JPG. If the original scanned resolution of the art at actual imprint size is at least 200 pixels per inch. If the image is multi color, additional artwork charges may apply.

Customers must approve all proofs within 3 days of receipt or production delays may occur.
Custom Artwork
We will happily work with you to furnish the best artwork that meets your particular business, event, school, church, family, or organizational need. If you have a general idea of something you like, we will develop artwork to fit your needs. Custom artwork can be provided at an hourly rate of $30 per hour. Rates will be charged on the half hour. Most one and two color designs will generally take less then one hour, as long as few revisions to the original artwork are required. All artwork is kept on file at Copeland Screen Printing & Embroidery.
Embroidery Designs
All artwork for embroidery should be provided in JPG or BMP format. A digitizing fee will apply to all artwork. This fee usually ranges around $40 for a left chest design, but may vary depending on the required stitch count. If your artwork is already on a disk and digitized, the digitizing fee may be waived.
